BECS Solar Energy Solutions offers photovoltaic options for the homeowner. Systems are available to meet any need or specification, from 1% of your energy usage to 100%.
Photovoltaic (PV) technologies convert the sun’s energy into electricity. Off grid PV systems store energy in batteries for later use, while grid-tie PV systems utilize the utility grid for storage of energy. Grid-tie PV systems with battery backup allow for the convenience and financial benefits of a grid-tie system and the peace of mind that your solar array will still provide electricity for your home during a grid power outage.
If your main goal with solar power is to save money on your electric bills for years to come, then a grid-tie PV system is the way to go. This eliminates the need for a battery bank as the means of energy storage, and simply uses the grid as the storage when your solar electric system generates more electricity than you are using. This means of interconnection and utility metering is known as net-metering.
BECS Large Scale Solar Energy Solutions offers Grid Type photovoltaic Solutions. Systems are available to meet any need or specification.
We offer large-scale photovoltaic system (PV system) designed for the supply of merchant power into the electricity grid. Our systems are differentiated from most building-mounted and other decentralized solar power applications because they supply power at the utility level, rather than to a local user or users
BECS Aeolical Energy Solutions offers turnkey solutions for wind speed monitoring and wind energy production.
Due to the nature of wind in this area we highly recommend monitoring equipment is installed to collecy wind data prior to any installation. Unlike with solar, monitoring for wind is not an instantaneous procedure. Proper wind data accumulation requires a six to twelve months period. Significant data has been accumulated by NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratories) and is publicly available at www.nrel.gov
BECS Renewable Energy Solutions are playing a key role in the expansion of the Solar and Wind industry in Puerto Rico. As the Solar and Wind industries develop, BECS will be contributing to the Renewables related job growth with the creation of more than 100 jobs during the 2015 Fiscal Year.
